We are a team of highly trained health professionals who have expertise in gynaecological problems, incontinence and diagnostic ultrasound.

We deliver an integrated service that includes gynaecological consultations and surgical treatments, specialist continence investigations, pelvic floor physiotherapy and ultrasound screening and includes a ‘one stop’ ultrasound and consultation clinic.

We are based in Banbury and Oxford for surgery and for specialist investigations we also provide local clinics in Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Norton, Shipston on Stour and Bourton on the Water.

Jonathan is one of 3 Senior Consultants who provide the specialist continence and pelvic floor care in the nationally accredited Urogyanecology Unit at Oxford.

Jonathan Nicholls MD, MRCOG

Consultant Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist

Jonathan Nicholls qualified from Westminster Hospital, London in 1985. He undertook higher surgical training in Bristol developing his continence and pelvic floor expertise at the Bristol Urology Institute. Following his appointment to the Oxford University Trust, he has developed and leads the pelvic floor and continence service with two other colleagues. He has focused on minimal access (keyhole) surgical techniques to treat continence and menstrual disorders. In 2014 he was awarded the prestigious Bernard Barron Travelling Scholarship by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Katie Gore


Katie trained as a physiotherapist at Brighton University. After graduation she specialised in women’s health physiotherapy and following examination was awarded the PgCert in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. Katie is a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy Professional body and also the Oxfordshire Urogynaecology Multi-Disciplinary Team. She continues to work both in the NHS as the Team Lead for Oxfordshire, and also privately. Katie is highly skilled in assessing and treating pelvic floor prolapse and urinary incontinence.

Beverley White

Nurse Practitioner

Beverley completed her general nurse training at the John Radcliffe Hospital before going on to work in gynaecology outpatients. After gaining experience in general women’s health care she speciliased in the management of incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse. She completed training in female urodynamics leading to accreditation by the UK Continence Society (UKCS) and now runs urodynamic investigation clinics at the JR and Horton Hospitals. She also has special expertise in non-surgical treatments of prolapse and trains doctors and practice nurses nationally in the fitting and use of vaginal pessaries. She is chair of the Oxford Urogynaecology Multi Disciplinary team.
